Education & Training CTSO Assistant Advisor - Cultural Competency & DEIB Support

The Delaware Department of Education is seeking an Education & Training CTSO Assistant Advisor Advisor for the 2024-2025 school year, beginning on October 1, 2024. This individual must be highly energetic and self-directed to support the organization and management of statewide activities for the Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs), cultural competency, and DEIB initiatives. Under the general supervision of the individual CTSO State Advisor, the contractor will work collaboratively (with other local advisors, business partners, and a team of state officers) to plan, coordinate, and evaluate annual CTSO activities, which include monthly meetings, state conferences, and national conferences.  Additional information can be provided by contacting Michael Hill-Shaner (Michael.Hill-Shaner@doe.k12.de.us). There are no accrued benefits to these positions. All non-school district applicants must undergo a current Delaware and National criminal background check and a child abuse registry check.
