2026 State Leadership Conference
Delaware Department of Education, Delaware Teacher Academy Foundation, and University of Delaware are pleased to host the 2026 Delaware Educators Rising State Conference, which will take place February 10-11, 2026, at the University of Delaware. This annual event invites middle and high school students to step boldly From Access to Action as they explore the pathways, skills, and leadership needed to shape the future of education.
Over two immersive days, participants engage in career & college readiness programming, professional learning workshops, and leadership development experiences designed to elevate their journey into the teaching profession.
Students will showcase their talents in performance-based skill attainment events, demonstrating instructional practice, communication, cultural competency, and leadership. Top finalists earn the opportunity to represent Delaware at the 2026 National Educators Rising Conference in Portland, OR.
In alignment with our theme, students who excel in competitions may also earn scholarships from Wilmington University and the University of Delaware, turning access into real, tangible opportunities.
Join us as Delaware’s rising educators transform their passion into action, and take their next step toward becoming the teachers and leaders our communities need.
