Teaching Beyond the Binary; An Introduction to Gender Inclusion in the Classroom

transgender, nonbinary, and gender-diverse students experience more hostile school

environments than their cisgender peers, and reports of harassment and discrimination

remain high. Feeling safe at school is closely tied to having supportive educators—and
