Education & Training CTSO Assistant Advisor
(Student Activities Administrative Support)
The Delaware Department of Education is seeking an Education & Training CTSO Assistant Advisor for the 2023-2024 school year, beginning on September 1st, 2023. This individual must be highly energetic and self-directed to organize and manage statewide activities for the Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs). Under the general supervision of the individual CTSO State Advisor, the contractor will work collaboratively (with other local advisors, business partners, and a team of state officers) to plan, coordinate, and evaluate annual CTSO activities, which include monthly meetings, state conferences, and national conferences. This individual must be highly energetic and self-directed to organize and manage statewide activities and resources for the Career and Technical Student Organizations (CTSOs) and Career & Technical Education programs of study. Under the general supervision of the Education Associate - Culturally Competent Workforce Lead, the contractor will work collaboratively (with other local advisors, business partners, and a team of state officers) to plan, coordinate, and evaluate diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging programs, events, and learning opportunities for students and teachers. This position will also support the development of culturally competent resources for various programs of study.
